Insurance Agency Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Agency Assistant to join our team at RC Fischer & Co. in Walnut Creek, CA.

Job Summary:

The Insurance Agency Assistant will provide administrative support to our insurance brokers and account managers, assisting with client information, following up on policy changes, and performing data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Input client information into our data management system
  • Assist with organizing and updating insurance company information
  • Check location eligibility for homeowners insurance
  • Assist with client payments and follow up on potential cancellations
  • Contact insurance companies for policy status updates
  • Send applications and documents for electronic signature
  • Work with our team on various projects

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to navigate insurance programs
  • Ability to work in a team environment
