Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join our commercial real estate team at Babich & Associates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex real estate transactions, including title and survey review, commercial leasing, contract review and drafting, UCC filings, lien searches, and critical-date tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review loan terms letters and loan approval memos from lenders
  • Prepare loan closing checklists incorporating lenders' requirements
  • Review title insurance commitments and surveys
  • Prepare title and survey comment/requirement letters to borrowers
  • Verify borrowers' existence and authority documents
  • Prepare initial drafts of loan documents
  • Prepare lenders' closing instructions
  • Prepare closing binders

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and proofing
  • Previous law firm and client billing experience
  • ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred

Compensation: $70,000 - $78,000 plus benefits
