Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Administration Officer II to join our team at City National Bank. As a key member of our trust administration team, you will be responsible for administering personal trust accounts, including testamentary and intervivos trusts, foundations, and agency accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer personal trust accounts, including reviewing and revising paperwork, preparing account paperwork, and analyzing anticipated income to ensure sufficient cash is maintained to meet beneficiary distributions.
  • Initiate annual administrative reviews of trust accounts, review files for completed forms, codes, and payments, and ensure accuracy and consistency with the trust document.
  • Produce and review various tax reports for clients and intermediaries, research tax deficiency notices, and pay estimated taxes and allocate tax payments between principal and income.
  • Coordinate the setup, tracking, and monitoring of personal property inventory, including real estate, mineral, oil and gas, intellectual properties, and special financial assets.
  • Provide exceptional client service by responding to client and colleague inquiries, and communicating with advisors and intermediaries regarding account administration and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in personal trust administration required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a financial services organization required.
  • Minimum 4 years of administrative/clerical experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree required; J.D. degree a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to gather, arrange, compile, interpret, analyze, summarize, and evaluate information and data.
What We Offer

City National Bank offers a competitive salary range of $65,296 - $104,304 per year, with the potential for bonus and/or commissions. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
