We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Global SaaS Provider. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of activities from recruiting new hires to retaining existing employees and coordinating company benefits and events.
This is a part-time position, working 20 hours a week, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The schedule is from 8am to 5pm, with an hour unpaid lunch break.
This is an in-office position, located in San Diego, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen and recruit potential employees
- On-board new employees and implement company culture, values, and policies
- Provide management with requested reports and documents
- Coordinate company-paid employee health benefits, COBRA, and 401(k)
- Process employee leave in ADP Workforce Now
- Coordinate employee touch-base meetings and events focused on employee recognition
- Coordinate company calendar and maintain employee files
- Ensure company compliance with local laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Human Resources and recruiting
- Experience with ADP payroll systems, Workforce Now experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
