Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Global SaaS Provider. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of activities from recruiting new hires to retaining existing employees and coordinating company benefits and events.

This is a part-time position, working 20 hours a week, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The schedule is from 8am to 5pm, with an hour unpaid lunch break.

This is an in-office position, located in San Diego, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen and recruit potential employees
  • On-board new employees and implement company culture, values, and policies
  • Provide management with requested reports and documents
  • Coordinate company-paid employee health benefits, COBRA, and 401(k)
  • Process employee leave in ADP Workforce Now
  • Coordinate employee touch-base meetings and events focused on employee recognition
  • Coordinate company calendar and maintain employee files
  • Ensure company compliance with local laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources and recruiting
  • Experience with ADP payroll systems, Workforce Now experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Ability to build rapport with all employees
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
