Lead Training Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire proficiency in new software applications and instruct team members accordingly.
  • Create instructional materials and quick reference documents for end-users.
  • Set up personal computers and printers for incoming staff.
  • Deliver training sessions for new hires on the computer systems and hardware.
  • Organize and manage external training sessions for new employees.
  • Provide continuous training assistance to team members.
  • Keep division staff informed about updates in computer protocols.
  • Offer user support for all functionalities of the Enterprise Imaging System (EIS).
  • Act as the microcomputer system administrator for the division, managing distribution lists, passwords, and a repository of standard documents.
  • Implement upgrades for computer hardware and software.
  • Support the installation of EIS hardware and software.
  • Aid field staff in training agents on software tools, such as Open Crisp, by developing training resources and conducting presentations.
  • Accompany field personnel to set up computer systems in agents' offices.
  • Assist with troubleshooting calls from field staff and agents regarding software and hardware issues.
  • Collaborate with the Information Technology department to identify and resolve division-related computer network issues.
  • Execute other job-related tasks as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in the following software:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Web Browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome
  • Basic networking for file management
  • Windows Desktop Operating System
  • Virtual Private Network (VPN)
  • Familiarity with the following hardware:
  • Personal Computers, Laptops, and Mobile Devices
  • Scanners and Printers
  • Capability to learn company-specific software and new applications.
  • Strong listening skills to diagnose user-reported computer issues over the phone and provide effective solutions.
  • Understanding of or the ability to learn about the company's products, services, and systems to assist users effectively.
  • Knowledge of or the ability to grasp the terminology used in the insurance sector and by the company.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with colleagues, external partners, and clients.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Willingness to learn and develop expertise in using division equipment, including computers, software, EIS scanners, and workstations.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism during busy periods.
  • Capability to interpret oral or written instructions.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to confidentiality regarding all duties, including marketing data, product knowledge, pricing, processes, and systems.
  • Flexibility to assist in other work-related areas as necessary.
The salary range for this position is between $54,000 and $86,000, with the final offer dependent on the applicant's qualifications and other considerations. This role may also qualify for participation in an annual incentive program.
