Job Summary

Foster Farms is seeking a highly skilled HACCP Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Food Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and developing and implementing food safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of food safety programs, including HACCP, SSOP, and GMP.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies, including USDA/FSIS.
  • Investigate and respond to regulatory non-compliances.
  • Develop and maintain regulatory documentation and review processes.
  • Lead pathogen control investigations and develop corrective actions.
  • Supervise and train hourly FSQA documentation review staff.
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Food Science, Meat/Animal Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of food processing and quality management experience.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to make sound judgments and decisions regarding product quality and wholesomeness.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in PC software, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
