Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the seamless operation of multi-user computer systems, collaborating with network administrators.
  • Engaging with users and assessing vendor products.
  • Recommending hardware and software purchases, coordinating installations, and providing backup recovery solutions.
  • Developing and overseeing policies and standards for the allocation of computing resources.
  • Additional duties may involve setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, optimizing system performance, installing system-wide software, and managing mass storage allocation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Systems Administration, along with a High School diploma or equivalent. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree (3 years) or a Master's degree (1 year) may also be considered.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended shifts, holidays, and weekends.
  • Possession of a valid U.S. passport.
  • Ability to maintain a current DoD Secret clearance and obtain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.
  • Commitment to obtaining and maintaining required certifications for the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience with:
    • All Windows Server and Desktop versions.
    • Active Directory, DNS.
    • Group policy design, testing, and implementation.
    • HPE Storage Technologies.
    • VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
    • MS SQL.
    • PowerShell Scripting.

Salary Range: $79,300 - $118,900

The above salary range serves as a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay, designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may qualify for Long Term Incentives. Furthermore, Northrop Grumman offers a variety of benefits, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plans, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and personal business.
