Position Summary
The Administrative Support Specialist plays a crucial role in managing communication and providing assistance to residents, families, visitors, and staff. This position collaborates closely with the facility's management and office personnel to maintain operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Facilitate the distribution of mail and packages
- Support various office tasks as directed by the Office Manager or facility leadership
- Handle accounts payable duties, ensuring timely processing and submission of invoices
- Update and maintain employee contact lists as necessary
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly billing statements for residents
- Contribute to enhancing resident experiences through dedicated care and engagement initiatives
- Participate in staff development efforts, including recruitment and training
- Conduct vendor compliance checks as required
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Office Manager
Required Qualifications
Education and Training
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
Skills and Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
