Job Title: Field Support Specialist

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Field Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our field operations, ensuring the confidentiality of employee and project files, and performing various administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee and project files
  • Perform administrative duties, including composing routine correspondence and coordinating activities
  • Assist in filing, copying, scanning, and faxing documents
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages, and transfer calls
  • Check quality of own work
  • Assist in coordinating meeting arrangements and catering services for department functions
  • Order project or department supplies and maintain supply cabinet
  • Assist in distribution of incoming and outgoing documents
  • Keep abreast of project and department systems, services relevant to area of responsibility, and project process improvements, procedures, and practices
  • Process a variety of procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines
  • Assist in data entry using project databases within assigned department
  • Must be punctual and maintain a dependable level of attendance in accordance to project work rules
  • Adhere to all safety procedures
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable work experience with 10 years of experience in construction
  • Excellent communication skills, writing, and time management skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience of one or more discipline skill sets (Mechanical, Piping, Structural, Rigging, Electrical, etc.)
  • Ability to relate to Client, Management, Supervision, and teamwork
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable
  • Supervision experience is desirable
  • Experience in formal or informal teaching/training/instruction is desirable
