Innova Solutions is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst.

Position Type: Full-time Permanent Role

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Report any quality and safety issues to authorized personnel.
  2. Conduct in-process quality inspections across various departments each shift, ensuring compliance with production documentation, sample retention, labeling, cleanliness, and allergen control.
  3. Perform daily scale verifications.
  4. Manage product holds:
  • Initiate holds on materials based on quality and safety standards.
  • Distribute electronic hold reports and manage product transfers.
  • Release held products upon receiving necessary approvals.
  • Prepare disposal documentation for held materials.
  1. Conduct metal detector audits during production.
  2. Verify DVU (Daily Verification Unit) logs and perform alarm checks.
  1. Validate changeovers on production lines and conduct ATP swabbing post-sanitation.
  2. Execute environmental swabbing in line with manufacturing policies.
  3. Perform annual allergen validations.
  4. Maintain an inventory of quality assurance supplies.
  5. Create retain samples for production.
  6. Conduct internal audits of the facility.
  7. Audit glass and brittle plastic items.
  8. Conduct annual magnet pull tests.
  9. Test metal detectable items biannually.
  10. Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on the production floor and report daily findings.
  11. Train new quality assurance personnel.
  12. Generate maintenance requests as needed.
  13. Initiate line shutdowns in response to critical safety concerns.
  14. File quality assurance documentation.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the quality assurance department.
  16. Check oil free fatty acid levels and water chlorine concentrations.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $18/hr

*Compensation will be determined based on various factors including education, experience, job location, and specific responsibilities.
