Position Overview:
The QA Tech-COA Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that microbiological samples are evaluated according to the COA master log, guaranteeing that all tested products comply with microbiological standards before distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Monitoring and Reporting:**
- Identify and report any food safety or quality concerns to authorized personnel.

2. **Micro Sample Management:**
- Conduct daily assessments of QA COA logs for samples submitted by production.
- Prepare product samples for laboratory analysis and complete the Sample Submission Form Request (SARF) as per the COA master log.
- Communicate any issues regarding samples to the QA Supervisor and Production management, including but not limited to insufficient samples or incorrect labeling.

3. **Quality Testing:**
- Execute all required physical quality tests on finished products, including weight counts, dimensional measurements, and defect analysis.

4. **Lab Report Analysis:**
- Review microbiological lab reports daily to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Report any out-of-specification results to the Director of Quality and Technical Services.
- Maintain accurate records of lab reports by item/lot in the Contract Micro Lab file.

5. **Certificate of Analysis Management:**
- Generate and distribute Certificates of Analysis from lab reports, ensuring timely communication with the shipping department and customer service regarding any COA issues.

Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma; college education is a plus.
- Proficient in basic mathematics and possess strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential.
