Overview of the Role

At UniFirst, we are in search of a dedicated and diligent Production Team Partner to become a vital part of our esteemed organization. As a key member of the Pre-Tunnel Inspection Department, your primary responsibility will be to uphold quality standards by meticulously inspecting garments as they move through our steam tunnel process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Count and organize garments
  • Prepare garments for processing through the steam tunnel
  • Conduct visual inspections for any defects such as tears, holes, stains, or damage
  • Ensure compliance with the UniFirst 20-point uniform inspection criteria
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, HACCP, and medical guidelines

Additional duties may be assigned by the area supervisor or management as needed.


Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and clear communication with management
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling American standard units in weight, measurement, volume, and distance
  • Capability to lift up to 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.
