Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain open communication with the Show Director to ensure all production requirements are clearly understood.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the control room and the Technical Operations Center, ensuring that live remote broadcasts are accurately routed and meet audio/video quality standards.
  • Assist the director with the last-minute coding of additional stories and production elements.
  • Review all production materials sent to the control room prior to airing.
  • Notify the production team of any discrepancies or issues with elements scheduled to air.
  • Oversee the recording of pre-produced segments using Sony ELC in the lead-up to the show, integrating them into the iNews rundown.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in live news production is essential.
  • Prior experience with Control Room Automation is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Self-motivated with outstanding organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic, positive demeanor, and leadership qualities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
