Subject Matter Expert for Licensing Compliance

Compensation: $25 - $27/hour on W2 (All Inclusive)

Position Overview:

  • Conduct thorough research on membership and compliance issues in collaboration with state and industry agencies; serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a designated market region.
  • Oversee Participant & Subscriber licensees at LanceSoft regarding their MLS & Association memberships, which includes:
    • Evaluating and advising licensees to ensure adherence to all industry standards and compliance regulations.
    • Preparing and accurately submitting new applications along with all necessary filings and documentation.
    • Assisting with payment processes and reconciling expenses associated with applications, renewals, and ongoing membership management.
    • Facilitating documentation signings with internal licensees during onboarding, renewal, and offboarding processes.
  • Review and analyze inconsistent membership records and external rosters to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain, monitor, and update membership and licensing records within key Compliance Management Systems (Client), including Workday, Airtable, and Smartsheet.
  • Process incoming brokerage communications, leveraging a wide network of internal and external partners to appropriately route messages; record and analyze communications by type, identifying key trends or issues.
  • Plan and coordinate regular communications and helpful reminders for licensees regarding membership updates and upcoming renewals.
  • Manage listing and member violation notifications and oversee fines to ensure timely payment of applicable MLS fines or violations.
  • Collaborate with the Brokerage Operations/RREO/Legal team to address recurring compliance issues and ensure adherence to MLS and Association membership requirements.
  • This role requires strong computer proficiency and organizational skills.
  • Ideal candidates will possess knowledge of Mortgage Lending roles and/or experience with Multiple Listing Services (MLS).
