Job Title: Perioperative Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting, including the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and other relevant data.
  • Perform post-operative tasks, such as changing dressings and administering medications.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Delaware.
  • BSN degree or commitment to obtaining within three years of hire.
  • At least 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing or a related field.
  • ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
