The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, sourcing, and technical procurement, with a passion for customers and a hunger for creating a significant impact at a global scale. You will be responsible for owning, building, and running technology sourcing and qualifications programs, engaging with multiple stakeholders to influence and drive plans to create a resilient supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sourcing Expertise: Develop and execute component vendor strategies in support of business requirements for AWS Server hardware, including commercial terms, statements of work, SLAs, capacity, supply & pricing.
- Program Management: Build a comprehensive program management schedule and communicate it effectively across various stakeholders to hold them accountable to deliverables.
- Supply Chain Analysis: Analyze industry capacity for manufacturing critical technologies, especially in the GenAI space, to predict market constraints and plan sourcing strategies to secure continuity of supply and drive cost optimization.
- Vendor Performance Management: Implement vendor performance controls and periodic executive level reviews to ensure sustained operational excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic quality/availability/cost improvement initiatives with suppliers to drive product technology roadmaps.
- Business Acumen: Understand key technology trends on board level components for NICs and ML accelerators, and engage with suppliers to drive product technology roadmaps and execute strategic quality/availability/cost improvement initiatives.
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.
- 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
