Job Title: Principal Supply Chain Program Manager

Microsoft Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Principal Supply Chain Program Manager to join our Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery.
  • Manage supplier relationships to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supply chain costs.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure sourcing effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 6+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience.
  • OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 4+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or a related role.
  • 5+ years of experience with financial modeling and cost analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Good analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL).
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and sourcing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
