About the Job

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is seeking a highly skilled Legal Advisor to join its Office of General Counsel (OGC). As a Legal Advisor – Office of Equal Employment Opportunity, you will provide critical legal advice and policy counsel to CIA leadership on complex areas of law affecting the CIA's duties and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and policy counsel to CIA leadership on complex areas of law affecting the CIA's duties and responsibilities.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on sensitive matters.
  • Provide training on a variety of laws and policies affecting CIA personnel.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with other Intelligence Community elements, federal agencies, congressional committees, and outside legal representatives.
  • Advise management on diversity and inclusion issues and assist in ensuring the federal EEO complaint process complies with federal law and regulations.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership from any of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in handling federal sector equal employment opportunity cases.
  • Ability to meet the, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation.
