Job Summary

White Plains Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Oncology Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients with cancer and hematological disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and dispensing services for hematology/oncology practices and patients
  • Review patient medication orders against medication profiles in accordance with hospital and pharmacy policies
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
  • Participate in infection control and risk management programs
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in oncology pharmacy practice
  • Supervise pharmacy assistants and perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a BS in Pharmacy
  • NYS Pharmacist license and current registration required
  • Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience, with 3 years of annual CE requirements in chemotherapy/oncology
  • Oncology certification by NYSCHP or BPS or equivalent preferred
