We are seeking a qualified Nursing Assistant to join our team at New Wave People. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily needs, including bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Follow correct policies and procedures in carrying out simple treatments, positioning, and transferring residents
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless resident care
- Current New York State Nurse Aide Certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and nights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic life support certification (no CPR required)
- A competitive salary of $35,000 - $45,000 per year
