Position Overview:

The Opportunity

This role is part of the Center of Enterprise Technology Analytics team, dedicated to supporting the Enterprise Technology (ET) business sectors. The Senior Financial Analyst position is focused on delivering superior financial guidance and support regarding expense oversight. Responsibilities include evaluating and interpreting expenditures, steering the forecasting and budgeting initiatives, and providing financial assessments to our Decision Support and technology partners. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Decision Support team, potentially leading to future opportunities within that area based on their ability to integrate and expand their domain expertise.

Your Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics, complemented by over 5 years of relevant experience. An MBA is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to lead and contribute to teams is crucial.

  • Expertise in synthesizing analysis and research into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in creating financial models, conducting scenario analyses, and evaluating various options.
  • Ability to manage deliverables independently and efficiently.

Your Contributions

  • Influencing senior management on critical decisions through clear and concise evaluations, analyses, and financial models.
  • Developing financial analyses and reports for business unit expenditures, including regular reporting, month-end close processing, variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and associated business commentary.
  • Providing ongoing and ad-hoc analyses and formulating recommendations, including scenario evaluations.
  • Assessing and enhancing IT financial management processes to align with evolving business requirements and efficiency objectives.
  • Mentoring and developing junior analysts.
