Job Description

At Amcor, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall production process, ensuring that all safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership to the production team and manage the systems, equipment, and personnel to achieve established policies, procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement process control initiatives to ensure manufacturing SOPs exist and are sufficient for quality, safety, and process control.
  • Participate in budgeting, capital planning, cost take-out, staffing, and other elements to ensure financial and operational objectives are met.
  • Lead and ensure growth of a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture by providing resources, participating in teams, and leading teams as necessary.
  • Ensure effective, timely, and well-developed communications for all production associates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for safety.
  • 3+ years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in flexible packaging.
  • Embodies Amcor's Values.
  • Proven ability to lead and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong Customer Service mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
