We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant for the 2024/2025 school year in Massillon, Ohio. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their academic pursuits. Job Description:

School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) work with students who have various communication difficulties, including speech, language, and auditory processing disorders. As an SLP, your primary responsibility will be to assess and evaluate students' communication abilities, develop individualized therapy plans, and provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings. You'll work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and auditory processing abilities.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings, utilizing a variety of techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure students receive a comprehensive education.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school-based setting.
