Job Summary

Uncommon Schools is seeking a highly qualified High School History Teacher to join our team. As a History Educator, you will play a critical role in shaping the minds of our students and preparing them for success in college and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods to promote critical thinking, analytical writing, and discourse among students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement academic and engagement goals for students.
  • Meet weekly with the principal and/or instructional coach to analyze and respond to trends in student work samples and assessments.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of $57,000 to $89,000 based on experience.
