Behavior Intervention Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist to join our team at Salem-Keizer Public Schools. The successful candidate will assist building administration in planning, implementing, and assessing the schoolwide student management program, contributing to a positive school culture and climate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with building administration to develop and implement the schoolwide student management program.
- Analyze student data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure a positive school culture and climate.
- Provide support to teachers and staff to implement best practices for instruction.
Requirements:
- Valid Oregon Teaching License required.
- Experience with or knowledge of Common Core State Standards and best practices for instruction desired.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively as a team member.
- Experience analyzing student data preferred.
- Three years of teaching or counseling experience.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $50,011 - $98,436.
- Temporary position, January 6, 2025 - June 13, 2025.
