Fluid Power Sales Representative

Berendsen Fluid Power is a leading distributor of fluid power solutions, providing value-added services to the industrial and off-highway markets. We are one of North America's largest fluid power integrators, with 50 locations in the United States and Canada.
Job SummaryThe Field Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and supporting technical solutions for off-highway mobile systems. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with customers to understand their fluid power and electrical control needs.
Key Responsibilities- Grow customer base by identifying new customers and markets
- Develop hydraulic and electrical solutions
- Maintain high competency of our product
- Maintain high competency of customers' products
- 40% overnight travel
- Maintain communication with Berendsen support team
- Project management and time management
- Provide hydraulic and electrical schematics with the aid of Berendsen engineering
- Build strong customer relationships
- Maintain customer reports monthly
- Provide pricing on the systems developed within Berendsen guidelines
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
- Associates Degree in Fluid Power
- Associates Degree in technical discipline with 5 plus years of experience
- 10 plus years of experience in technical field
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Fluid power experience
- Electrical controls experience
- AutoCad LT
- Microsoft Office
Berendsen offers a base salary, standard commission, and additional commission on territory growth, as well as a company matching 401K plan and medical benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
