About the Position:
As the Technical Program Associate for Engineering at INGENIOUS.BUILD, you will have the unique opportunity to serve as the primary contact for Engineering initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the VP of Engineering and Product to enhance processes, educate teams on both new and established protocols, and work across departments to ensure effective communication.
In this role, you will manage several process-oriented projects within the Engineering department, provide support with technical devices, hardware, and software challenges, and assist with various administrative responsibilities assigned by the VP of Engineering and Product.
We seek a proactive problem solver who can drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate project management for cross-functional products to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop metrics to assess impact and promote internal process enhancements.
- Identify project dependencies and formulate mitigation strategies.
- Communicate planning, project status, issues, and risks promptly to stakeholders.
- Support and disseminate best practices related to delivery team Scrum methodologies.
- Lead the creation and management of multiple Jira and Scrum projects aimed at process optimization.
- Observe teams to pinpoint opportunities for defining project scope, requirements, and delivery.
- Assist with daily administrative operations as directed by the VP of Product and Engineering.
- Act as a liaison among cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication of priorities across various projects and tasks.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to generate Jira reports for effective collaboration within teams and leadership.
- Identify areas for process improvement in developer delivery and future collaboration.
- Partner with teams to train and educate them on new and existing processes, ensuring adherence through detailed documentation and open communication.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Engineering to implement innovative technologies and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Previous experience in IT support or similar roles within a startup or SaaS environment.
- Fundamental understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Ubuntu), and network protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Prior experience in a startup setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Jira and Vanta.
