Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetics Engineer to join our team at Naval Sea Systems Command. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with others to develop, integrate, and apply electromagnetic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise others on electromagnetics in Science and Technology and DoD acquisition processes to facilitate successful execution of technical work.
  • Analyze and resolve complex electromagnetic issues based on knowledge of software development and simulation tools.
  • Provide technical support to branch electromagnetic product development, management, and sustainment.
  • Serve as the electromagnetics subject matter expert for branch technical reviews.
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
Qualifications
  • Basic education requirements may be met with a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Must have at least one year of specialized experience in electromagnetics or a related field.
