Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Administrator to support our mission-critical information systems and technical support services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, cybersecurity, and network management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide system administration support to maintain, develop, and operate hardware and network suites of equipment.
  • Support cybersecurity-related administration tasks, including system remediation, configuration, and development of A&A documentation.
  • Perform system initialization, deployment, accreditation, and system administration functions for Unclassified & Classified development servers and workstations.
  • Manage user accounts, perform LAN and application management support, and perform system backup management and restore systems in the event of system or disk crash.
  • Implement and validate Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) requirements and support Navy standards for A&A processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Ten (10) years hands-on technical experience with system backup/recovery, basic software management, security management, network management, operating computer systems, and hardware/software/network design, troubleshooting, and resource allocation.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMWare 6, Nakivo backup management, IGEL / IGEL UMS, and Solaris.
  • Familiarity with GIT Clients for Windows and Information Assurance Technicians (IAT) Level 2 or higher certification.
