Job Overview

The One 23 Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and performing complex systems engineering activities, including planning, performance management, capacity planning, testing, validation, and benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Engineering Planning: Lead and manage systems engineering efforts, including developing project plans, coordinating activities, and ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Performance & Capacity Management: Oversee system performance and capacity planning to ensure systems are optimized for current and future needs.
  • Testing & Validation: Conduct system testing and validation to ensure that systems meet the necessary performance, security, and operational standards.
  • Benchmarking & Information Engineering: Perform benchmarking to measure system performance and compare with industry standards. Apply information engineering techniques to improve system efficiency.
  • Documentation Development: Analyze and create detailed technical documentation related to system integration and performance.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate the efforts of assigned Systems Engineers and Junior Systems Engineers on specific engineering projects, providing guidance and technical leadership as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of related work experience in systems engineering.
  • Certifications: Must possess one of the following: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), ITIL Foundation Certification, CompTIA Security+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  • Clearance: Must possess an active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance.
