Position Overview

The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will collaborate closely with software development teams, employing both manual and automated testing methodologies to identify and rectify system discrepancies prior to and following deployment. This role encompasses the creation and upkeep of test scenarios, thorough documentation of results, and active engagement with various stakeholders to elevate the quality and efficiency of the systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual testing scenarios across multiple platforms and accounts.
  • Evaluate new functionalities and enhancements on a variety of physical devices and emulators.
  • Follow established processes for ticketing, reporting, and workflow management.
  • Identify, replicate, and document defects using project management tools, ensuring verification of defect resolutions.
  • Familiarize oneself with open-source automated testing frameworks and scripting languages.
  • Implement automated testing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Utilize tracking tools to monitor the progress of automation enhancements.
  • Set up testing environments to detect and monitor defects.
  • Document and convey testing outcomes, known risks, and obstacles to project managers and development teams.
  • Engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work alongside project managers and product owners to formulate and assess user acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Record feature implementations and system downtimes, both planned and unplanned.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide end-user support.
  • Establish standards and procedures for evaluating product quality and readiness for release.
  • Assist end-users and troubleshoot reported issues effectively.
  • Promote positive communication and teamwork within the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Agile testing or 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience with automated testing tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a background in system development and support.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, performance testing, load testing, and API testing tools.
  • Understanding of mobile and tablet device differences, along with various operating systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported issues.
  • Self-driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Positive demeanor and capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to fostering team success and continuous improvement.
