Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Specialist 1 will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Integrated Referral Management and Appointments Center (IRMAC) adheres to established standards for both internal and external data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and evaluating data quality metrics to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Providing support to the call center during peak operational periods.
- Conducting research on reports generated in Excel to identify discrepancies.
- Maintaining and updating databases with accurate information.
- Performing data entry tasks and reviewing feedback from customers.
- Listening to call recordings to assess service quality and patient experience.
- Collaborating with team members to identify areas for improvement.
- Assisting in the development of training materials and conducting training sessions.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- An associate degree or a minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Experience with MHS GENESIS and a solid understanding of statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- A foundational knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy.
