Business Development Manager

A challenging opportunity for a seasoned business development manager to lead client relationships and grow Aon's business in the risk insurance sector.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for retaining and growing existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute plans to retain and grow existing clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies, including pricing and service offerings.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform business development decisions.
  • Present complex risk insurance solutions to senior-level clients, leveraging industry expertise and technical knowledge.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, risks, and challenges.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to provide expert guidance to clients.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk insurance, with a proven track record of business development and account management.
  • Strong sales and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with senior-level clients.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • An active Property & Casualty license is required.
Salary and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $131,900 - $219,800 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for Aon's annual incentive plans, which offer discretionary bonuses and production incentives.
