Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Presbyterian Villages of Michigan. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our staff and residents, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to staff and residents, including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and preparing correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Assist with special events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Develop and maintain a positive customer service atmosphere, ensuring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned, including data analysis, research, and reporting.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required; some college level education or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience working in a business office environment, preferably in a non-profit or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) certification required for HUD or MSHDA governed villages.
