Position Overview

This role is focused on executing Information Assurance and Cybersecurity functions to support the Xacta application suite. The selected candidate will be tasked with assisting clients in the administration of applications, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting a comprehensive enterprise deployment of the Xacta Software Suite along with its interconnected systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment methodologies of the Xacta Software Suite and its integration with client security protocols.
  • Manage Windows or Linux systems administration tasks.
  • Utilize scripting or coding skills to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Deliver technical and programmatic Information Assurance and Cybersecurity services to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring robust network and information security systems.
  • Assist Xacta software users with technical support and guidance.
  • Offer recommendations aimed at improving operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures for the management of the Xacta application suite.
  • Possess an Active Top Secret Clearance and a willingness to pursue a CI Polygraph.
  • Hold a high school diploma or GED with 7+ years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 5+ years, a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience in cyber engineering projects.
  • Maintain a DoD M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification.
  • Be prepared to obtain a DoD M Cyber Security Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Xacta software suite or other Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) automation tools.
  • Background in systems security configuration or risk management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing environments, including Azure, AWS, OCI, GCP, etc.
