Role Summary:
E-volve Technology Systems is seeking an experienced ISSO to support a key client within the Intelligence Community (IC). This role is essential for ensuring the security and integrity of information systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in fulfilling ISSO duties for both new and existing systems, ensuring compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the operational security posture of information systems, ensuring adherence to established security policies and standards.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis to support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes.
  • Analyze system audit logs to detect unusual activities and potential threats.
  • Perform vulnerability scans and identify weaknesses in security systems.
  • Ensure that cybersecurity products and compensating controls effectively mitigate identified risks.
  • Apply comprehensive Cybersecurity policies and techniques to safeguard classified information systems.
  • Conduct security reviews to identify gaps in architecture and recommend necessary improvements.
  • Collaborate with government clients to address computer security incidents and ensure compliance with vulnerability standards.
  • Maintain documentation in government record-keeping systems.
  • Oversee Configuration Management for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware.
  • Perform risk analysis during significant changes to applications or systems.
  • Contribute to Risk Management Framework activities and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Current CI polygraph or ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 8 years of related experience; additional experience may substitute for education.
  • At least 8 years of experience as an Information Assurance/Security Specialist.
  • Familiarity with OMB Information Security directives and compliance.
  • Experience in developing effective policies for Federal or DoD Information Security Programs.
  • Proficient in Security Control Assessment in line with NIST standards.
  • Experience in risk analysis and assessment determinations.
  • Must possess active Security+, CISSP, CISA, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with XACTA is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of FISMA and NIST Information Security Guidelines.
  • Understanding of Federal Information System requirements.
  • Experience with CSAM tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FISCAM compliance.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is advantageous.
