Role Summary:
E-volve Technology Systems is seeking a dedicated ISSO to provide support for an Intelligence Community (IC) client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in fulfilling ISSO duties for both new and existing systems, ensuring compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) protocols, including the development of System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, and Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM).
  • Maintain the operational security posture of information systems by ensuring adherence to established security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments to facilitate Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes.
  • Analyze system audit logs to detect unusual activities and potential threats to network resources.
  • Perform vulnerability scans and identify weaknesses in security systems.
  • Ensure that cybersecurity solutions effectively mitigate identified risks to acceptable levels.
  • Implement a comprehensive range of Cybersecurity policies and techniques to safeguard classified information systems.
  • Conduct security evaluations to identify gaps in security architecture and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with government clients to address computer security incidents and ensure compliance with vulnerability standards.
  • Maintain system documentation within government record-keeping systems.
  • Oversee Configuration Management for security-related software, hardware, and firmware.
  • Perform risk analysis for significant changes to applications or systems.
  • Contribute to Risk Management Framework activities and related documentation.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Current CI polygraph or ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of applicable experience; additional experience may substitute for degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years in Information Assurance/Security roles, with familiarity in OMB Information Security directives.
  • Experience in developing effective policies and instructions for Federal or DoD Information Security Programs.
  • Proficient in conducting Security Control Assessments in accordance with NIST guidelines.
  • Experience in risk analysis and assessment determinations, considering operational constraints.
  • Must possess active Security+, CISSP, CISA, or equivalent certifications.
  • Familiarity with XACTA.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of FISMA and NIST Information Security Guidelines.
  • Understanding of FISMA, NIST, and OMB Federal Information System requirements.
  • Experience with CSAM tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FISCAM compliance.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
