Position Overview:

Aramark is seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to enhance the financial operations supporting LSU Athletics. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement daily credit management procedures to minimize overdue and bad debts.
  • Regularly review customer accounts to ensure compliance with credit control policies.
  • Achieve all performance targets outlined in the Company Plan.
  • Address and resolve daily customer account inquiries and issues, including invoice and statement requests.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to optimize credit control processes.
  • Accurately post and allocate receipts in a timely manner.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on outstanding debts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, escalating issues to the AR Manager as necessary.
  • Evaluate and enforce policies and procedures within the Credit Control Department.
  • Proactively advance unresolved issues.
  • Perform any additional duties as required.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the service industry with a focus on credit control.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle Systems is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate event schedules, including evenings and weekends.
