We are seeking a highly skilled Staff/Sr. Staff Systems Engineer to join our team at SciTec, Inc. in Boulder, CO. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering Next-Generation Missile Warning software and supporting our programs in the defense and aerospace fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute systems engineering processes aligned with IEEE 15288 standards.
  • Derive, decompose, and allocate requirements for remote sensing systems and software architecture.
  • Coordinate with program managers, software developers, and other team members to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Design and model systems architectures for remote sensor data processing systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in Systems Engineering.
  • Domain experience with remote sensing systems or software architecture.
  • Detail-oriented with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred skills include experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Agile software development methods, and familiarity with SysML or the Cameo/MagicDraw family.
