Security Support Personnel Project Lead

Compensation Range: $77,075 - $95,664 annually

Alutiiq, LLC is in search of a proficient Security Support Personnel Project Lead to oversee critical security operations. This role is dependent on the successful acquisition of a contract and entails daily security management, emphasizing various security disciplines including information, personnel, operations, industrial, physical, communications security, and anti-terrorism/force protection.

The Project Lead will be tasked with comprehensive management and supervision of the contract. This position involves executing daily contractual responsibilities alongside project leadership duties. The Project Lead will have the authority to represent the contractor in all matters related to this contract and will maintain regular communication with the government Contracting Officer Representative. Leading a team, the Project Lead will deliver extensive security support across multiple disciplines, which includes special security, information security, personnel security, operations security, industrial security, physical security, communications security, and anti-terrorism/force protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer daily Sensitive Compartmented Information functions and responsibilities.

• Execute access control measures and conduct entry/exit inspections to prevent unauthorized access to classified areas.

• Escort personnel and visitors without clearance.

• Review Visitor Certification Requests for precision and compliance.

• Conduct daily security checks during opening/closing and at the end of the day.

• Document security activities and report incidents to the relevant authorities.

• Aid in enforcing security protocols and alert staff to any security breaches.

• Perform clearance eligibility and access verifications.

• Operate and monitor access control and intrusion detection systems.

• Provide security briefings and assist with security indoctrinations and debriefings.

• Availability during standard working hours, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed for administrative reasons.

• Ensure adherence to security policies and directives outlined in DOD M, National Industry Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM): AR 380-5, Information Security Program, and all other applicable policies and regulations.

• Ensure completion of all required training.

• Guarantee submission of all necessary deliverables to the customer.

• Ensure accurate reporting of all labor hours to the government.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


• Education and Experience :
o High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
o Minimum of five years of experience in security operations, preferably in a government or military context.

• Desired Certifications :
o Hold certificates obtained within the last 36 months from the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) courses including SCI Security Refresher, Storage Containers and Facilities, Introduction to DOD Personnel Security Adjudications, Introduction to Personnel Security, Introduction to Derivative Classification, Identifying and Safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information, Introduction to Information Security, Transmission and Transportation of DOD IF 107.16, Marking Classified Information, Unauthorized Disclosure of Classified Information for DOD, and others as specified.

• Skills:
o Proficient in office automation tools including word processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets, and other personal computer applications.
o Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
o Experience utilizing the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).

• Security Clearance :
o Must possess a final Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
o U.S. Citizenship is required.
