Compensation: $27.39 per hour
Key Responsibilities:As a Guest Relations Specialist, reporting to the Front Office Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Exemplifying Reception, Concierge, and Operator service standards in all guest interactions while adhering to brand and departmental policies.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of all relevant systems and operational procedures.
- Promoting brand loyalty by enrolling new members in our loyalty program and updating guest profiles.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies to foster a secure work environment.
- Addressing guest inquiries promptly and effectively, including in-room dining requests.
- Facilitating reservations for hotel services, dining, tours, and transportation.
- Logging and responding to all guest requests in the appropriate systems.
- Providing detailed information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Assisting with the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in billing and guest preferences.
- Coordinating with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Communicating VIP arrivals to designated team members for special attention.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in front office operations or reservations is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical proficiency.
- Familiarity with Property Management Systems (Opera) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized and able to thrive under pressure.
