About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Advocate to join our team at Target. As a Guest Advocate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, resolving guest concerns, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service
    • Create a welcoming experience for all guests
    • Engage with guests in a genuine way, asking questions to better understand their specific needs
    • Be knowledgeable about our tools, products, and services to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
  • Cash Handling
    • Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
  • Inventory Management
    • Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
  • Teamwork
    • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service, accuracy, and quality

Requirements

  • Communication Skills
    • Communicate effectively, including using positive language and being attentive to guests' needs
  • Customer Focus
    • Welcome and help guests with a welcoming and helpful attitude
  • Attention to Detail
    • Pay attention to detail while multitasking
  • Technical Skills
    • Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
