Contract Negotiator

Job Summary:
As a Contracts Manager at EVONA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our contractual relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and mitigate the company's risk exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts, including form contracts, non-disclosure agreements, license agreements, release agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, termination notices, contract amendments, and purchase orders.
- Manage government and/or commercial contracts, including contracts related to the sale of commercial items to government entities, such as federal and international buyers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including international government acquisition regulations for the Canadian Space Agency, United Kingdom/UK Space Agency, or European Space Agency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and mitigate the company's risk exposure.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts or a combination of Juris Doctor and minimum 2 years of work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate various bodies of law and regulations under the General Counsel's direction.
- Proven experience managing government and/or commercial contracts, including form contracts, non-disclosure agreements, license agreements, release agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, termination notices, contract amendments, and purchase orders.
- Extensive understanding of one or more of the following: technology licensing, supplier administration, supply chain, purchasing, material management, price/cost analysis, and/or production control principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience managing contracts related to the sale of commercial items to government entities, including federal and international buyers.
- Understanding of international government acquisition regulations for the Canadian Space Agency, United Kingdom/UK Space Agency, or European Space Agency.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries: space, technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, emerging technology, U.S. federal and/or foreign governments.
