Job Summary

Clemson University's Benefits Team is seeking a highly skilled Benefits Navigator to provide support, education, and guidance to university employees regarding state and non-state benefits throughout the employee life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer-focused support and education to employees, former employees, and retirees on benefits-related matters.
  • Facilitate administrative transactions, operations, and communications related to insurance, retirement, and leave programs to ensure optimal solutions for both the university and employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Professional experience in insurance or retirement programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Working knowledge of employee benefit plans, policies, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in higher education or state/public sector.
  • 2+ years of work experience in employee benefits, human resources, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of employee benefit laws and regulations.
