We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Aileron Management LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our hotel's facilities, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance Operations
- Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities to ensure the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and in good working condition.
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
- Facilities Management
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all hotel equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ensure that all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained, and that all necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all maintenance staff are up-to-date on the latest maintenance techniques and technologies.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or facilities management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
