Prior experience in healthcare-related IT, insurance technology, Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), Medicaid eligibility, or social services eligibility is advantageous but not mandatory.

• This role demands exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. If a vendor deems it necessary to significantly alter a candidate's resume or append additional information at the top, the resume is not yet suitable for submission, indicating the candidate may not be an ideal match.

• Resumes should be concise, ideally limited to two pages.
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
THIS PROJECT INVOLVES IMPLEMENTING FEDERALLY REQUIRED MODIFICATIONS FOR THE MEDICAID SYSTEM. THIS ROLE WILL CARRY OUT QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) FUNCTIONS AND ASSIST IN USER ACCEPTANCE (UA) TESTING OF SOFTWARE MODIFICATIONS RELATED TO MEDICAID SYSTEM DATA. TESTING WILL ENCOMPASS COLLABORATION WITH USERS AND EXTERNAL HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AS NECESSARY. THIS PROJECT REQUIRES COORDINATION WITH OTHER AGENCIES AND INTERNAL SYSTEMS.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
** THIS IS A QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER ROLE, NOT A PROGRAMMER, BUSINESS ANALYST, OR PROJECT MANAGER POSITION.** COLLABORATE WITH THE PROJECT TEAM TO TEST SOFTWARE MODIFICATIONS. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE DEVELOPING TEST SCENARIOS, EXECUTING TESTS, ANALYZING TEST RESULTS, RESOLVING DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN ACTUAL AND EXPECTED OUTCOMES, AND WORKING WITH SCDHHS TO FACILITATE USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING. COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY IN BOTH WRITTEN AND ORAL FORUMS. WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CLEMSON STAFF AND OTHER CONTRACTED PERSONNEL.
