Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transaction Manager to join our team at CBRE. As a Transaction Manager, you will be responsible for providing ongoing management of real estate transaction activities for a defined portfolio of commercial properties.

This role is part of the Brokerage job family, which involves buying, selling, and leasing industrial, office, retail, and other commercial properties on behalf of clients for occupation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic real estate goals.
  • Assist with project initiation and scope definition, prioritization of assignments, and adherence to client-driven priorities, commitments, and milestones.
  • Act as a landlord or seller agent and tenant or buyer agent to effectively negotiate the business terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate the negotiation of sales through a field broker, including negotiating leases and lease amendments, monitoring lease expirations, and negotiating lease renewals.
  • Locate and acquire new properties to meet the client's requirements and timeline.
  • Disposition of surplus space through subleasing, sales, early lease terminations, etc.
  • Understand how to review, evaluate, and interpret financial analysis templates.
  • Closely track transaction and project activity, record all savings results achieved, and prepare reports and make presentations to relevant parties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of real estate transactions or related experience.
  • Real Estate salesperson license required.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job subject area and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
  • Sophisticated math skills, including the ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
