Job Overview

The Paralegal, Transactions and Corporate, works under the direction of the Senior Managing Counsel for Commercial Transactions and other senior team members for contract review and special projects. This role is responsible for reviewing and analyzing contracts, agreements, and other documents to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other documents to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support the Legal team by taking on projects that require critical thinking and strong organizational skills, including contract review analysis, legal research, and acquisitions due diligence.
• Provide focused value-added comments, feedback, and direction on important issues and questions to other company departments.
• Manage and maintain contract forms, including creation of new forms and involvement in variations to enhance efficiencies and management of template review meetings.
• Become an expert at processing and archiving contracts in Relativity's contract life-cycle management tool and related tasks, including documenting customer legal entity vitals and tracking in Relativity's customer relationship management tool.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of high-quality relevant experience preferably in commercial transactions.
• Undergraduate degree or Paralegal degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, agility, creativity, diligence, autonomous, and self-directed.
• Experience with business applications and software, including expertise with MS Office.
• Strong business acumen and keen to learn and understand software technology concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with contract life-cycle management tools, customer relationship management tools, and contract signature tools.
• Experience drafting and reviewing out-bound proprietary SaaS terms and conditions.
• Public sector contracting knowledge and experience.
• Background in information technology, SaaS, or selling information technology.

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible for total compensation, including a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between $76,000 and $114,000.
