Job Overview

Position: Service Technician – Recreational Vehicles

As an RV technician, you will engage with a variety of skills including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and flooring. While prior RV experience is not mandatory, a strong aptitude for hands-on work, commitment, and professionalism are essential. Our dealership prides itself on integrity and seeks dedicated technicians who appreciate the value of hard work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with recreational vehicles
  • Collaborate with the shop foreman or RV service advisor regarding repairs
  • Communicate additional service needs to the RV service advisor
  • Coordinate work procedures in conjunction with the shop foreman
  • Provide labor time estimates to the RV service advisor
  • Track repair progress and keep the RV service advisor informed
  • Adhere strictly to dealership policies regarding RV maintenance and operation
  • Document and complete records for client repairs
  • Assist in training and mentoring new RV technician trainees
  • Participate in ongoing company and factory training sessions
  • Stay updated with factory technical bulletins
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required; candidates should have 1 to 3 months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses and Certifications

Valid Operator Driver's License & State Inspection License are necessary.
