FETCH Home Management LLC is an expanding, privately-owned local property management organization. We have experienced significant growth since our inception.

We are currently in search of a Maintenance Technician for the Lancaster region, responsible for general upkeep of grounds and basic repairs for properties managed by the community. As a successful Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that homes and community areas are well-maintained.
  • Managing maintenance requests through the Maintenance Work Order system promptly and efficiently.
  • Building and nurturing positive relationships with residents by addressing their maintenance needs.
  • Identifying issues and taking immediate corrective actions with the approval of the property manager.
  • Informing the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor about residents who improperly dispose of waste or have large items needing special arrangements.
  • Conducting regular inventories of maintenance tools and supplies, and notifying the Property Manager of any needs.
  • Keeping garage and storage areas organized and tidy.
  • Maintaining all maintenance equipment in good working order.
  • Adhering to national, state, and local health and safety regulations to minimize accidents and ensure the safety of residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Performing seasonal maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
  • Being available for on-call duties as required.
  • Assisting with property turnover as necessary.
  • Executing various maintenance tasks and repairs as needed.
  • Completing additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • A valid operator's license is necessary.
  • Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to lift or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to work with various chemical substances.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not mandatory.

We welcome candidates with backgrounds in building maintenance, facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, electrical work, or HVAC technology.
